The Dance Studio by ADC focuses on high-level training in a positive, structured environment. Dancers are pushed to grow technically and artistically while being part of a supportive and motivated team culture.

What ages do you offer classes for?

We offer classes for a variety of age groups and levels, from age 3 - 18. Placement is based on both age and ability to ensure dancers are in the best environment for growth.

Do you offer both recreational and competitive programs?

Yes! We offer both recreational classes and a competition team for dancers looking for a more serious commitment.

Enrollment FAQ's

How many classes should my dancer take per week?

This depends on your dancer’s goals. Recreational dancers may take 1–2 classes per week, while competition team dancers are required to take multiple classes, including ballet, jazz, and contemporary.

Dress code varies by style:
• Ballet: tights, black leotard, ballet shoes
• Jazz/Contemporary/Acro: fitted dancewear (leggings, sports bras, tops) + Jazz shoe/ barefoot
• Hip Hop: comfortable dancewear + sneakers

• Tap: fitted dancewear (leggings, sports bras, tops) + tap shoes



Street clothes such as jeans, skirts, or dresses are not permitted.

What should my dancer wear to class?

Can my dancer try a class first?

Yes! We encourage new dancers to try a class to ensure it’s the right fit.

Competition Team FAQ's

HOW DO AUDITIONS WORK?

Dancers attend one audition where they are evaluated on technique, performance quality, and ability to pick up choreography. Placement is based on overall readiness and team needs.

HOW MANY COMPETITIONS DOES THE TEAM ATTEND?

The team attends approximately 4 competitions per season.

WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT FOR COMPETITION TEAM?

Competition team dancers are expected to attend weekly classes, rehearsals, competitions, and mandatory events such as showcase, recital, and Nutcracker, as well as summer choreography camp and intensive.

HOW MANY ABSENCES ARE ALLOWED?

Competition team dancers are allowed a limited number of absences. Consistent attendance is required, and excessive absences may impact participation.

WHAT PERFORMANCES WILL MY DANCER PARTICIPATE IN?

Competition team dancers participate in:
• Competition Showcase (March)
• Nutcracker
• End-of-Year Recital
• Competitions throughout the season

ARE PERFORMANCES MANDATORY?

Yes—these are an essential part of the program and team experience.

WHAT COSTS SHOULD I EXPECT?

Families should plan for: Monthly tuition, Costumes, Competition fees, Possible convention fees, and Travel expenses (if applicable).

ARE COMPETITION FEES INCLUDED IN TUITION?

No—competition and costume fees are separate from tuition.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

Yes—most fees are broken into installments with scheduled due dates.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY DANCER MISSES CLASS?

Absences should be communicated in advance. Dancers are responsible for learning any missed choreography. Excessive absences may result in removal from competition team.

CAN PARENTS STAY AND WATCH CLASSES?

To maintain focus and a productive environment, classes are typically closed to parents unless otherwise specified.

HOW DO YOU COMMUNICATE WITH FAMILIES?

All communication is sent via email and/or designated platforms. Families are responsible for staying up to date with studio information.
